Dominik Doesn't Think Rey Mysterio Wants To Face Him In WWE

After months of issues between Dominik and Rey Mysterio, the younger Mysterio has claimed his father doesn't want to face him inside the squared circle. 

Dominik told the Daily Mail: 

"I always said I never want to wrestle my dad because of what he's done for me and this and that, and I get that, but I don't think he wants to get in there with me to be honest. I think it's got to the point where I've shown I'm willing to do what it takes to take him out and prove once again I'm the only Mysterio that matters in this business at the end of the day. 

"He's done. Like Damian said, he's washed and I just really don't think that he wants to be in there with me, not only because I don't think he has the balls to, but he understands that he can't hang in there with me. At the end of the day it's on him. I've proven my point, I've been in there, provoked him multiple times, but he's not taking the bait, so I can't see it happening, but if it does it's going to be on him."

Rey and Dominik had a face-to-face on last week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown in which Dominik tried to goad his father into hitting him. Rey wouldn't do so on this occasion, however. This comes after Dominik turned on Rey at Clash at the Castle in September 2022, aligning with Judgment Day shortly after.
