Dominik Mysterio Comments On Mustafa Ali's WWE Release

Dominik Mysterio talks about "unfortunate situation" with Mustafa Ali's release

Mustafa Ali was one of several names released from WWE over the last few days, being included with the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Matt Riddle, Emma, and more. With Ali, he was one of the few actively involved in upcoming plans and storylines, and was even scheduled for a match at the upcoming NXT No Mercy event, going up against The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio in a match for the NXT North American Championship. These plans have of course now changed.

The other half of that match, Dominik Mysterio, was asked about the release of Ali in an interview on the In The Kliq podcast, and he stated that it was an unfortunate event.

"Yeah, you know, it's a very unfortunate situation that very talented people have to go through situations like this. At the end of the day, it's out of our control. We just do whatever we can to put our best foot forward. But as far as No Mercy goes, I'm just gonna have to wait and see who my opponent will be."

Whilst no new opponent has been announced for Mysterio, he is set to face Dragon Lee on Monday Night Raw for the gold tomorrow night.
