Dominik Mysterio Given New WWE Nickname

Dominik Mysterio has been given a new nickname on WWE TV, it was revealed during the July 3 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Dominik was all over Raw this week, first appearing at ringside alongside Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley before Mysterio went one-on-one with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the main event of the show. Rollins ultimately defeated Dominik by DQ following interference from Finn Balor. 

As part of his presentation on Raw, Corey Graves repeatedly referred to Mysterio as "Dirty Dom" and this appears to be as part of a new directive from within WWE since the Judgment Day member was called "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio in tweets from the official WWE Twitter account during Monday Night Raw. The new nickname plays off the time Dominik spent in prison during late 2022. 

Mysterio looks set to have a bright future in WWE, with the company said to be impressed with his development. The company overall have been full of praise for Judgment Day and that has extended to the booking. Rhea Ripley is the reigning Women's World Champion while Damian Priest is the new Mr Money in the Bank.
