The Usos took to Twitter to announce a major segment for this week's episode of WWE SmackDown, posting:

"This Friday Night at Madison Square Garden, Live on Smackdown, we're putting The Tribal Chief on trial! After all this time, it's TRIBAL COURT: THE TRIAL OF THE TRIBAL CHIEF ROMAN REIGNS! #TheRealOnes"

This follows the team's huge victory over Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at last weekend's Money in the Bank in London, England. In the main event tag team match, Jey Uso shockingly pinned Reigns - a very noteworthy outcome, not only because Roman is in the midst of a dominant reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, but also because he hadn't previously been pinned since December 2019.

Amidst rumours and speculation that this will set up a title match between Reigns and Jey for SummerSlam, the upcoming 'Tribal Court' should help further advance the storyline.

Such TV segments have become a signature part of the Bloodline's ongoing arc, with former stablemate Sami Zayn undergoing a similar 'trial' in the run-up to this year's Royal Rumble, and Roman often questioning the loyalty of his family members.

Even the Usos' recent split from the Bloodline doesn't look to have ended this theme, even aside from Friday's upcoming segment - with Jimmy and Jey attempting to sow seeds of discontent between Roman and Solo (whom the Usos have deemed the next Tribal Chief.)
