Dominik Mysterio Wishes Eddie Guerrero Had Won The Custody Ladder Match

Dominik Mysterio continues to be WWE's most inflammatory heel.

Dominik Mysterio recently spoke to Wrestling Inc's Nick Hausman about his admiration for Eddie Guerrero, explaining:

"I feel like I've always been drawn to Eddie, whether it's early 90s Eddie, WCW Eddie, or it's 'I'm your papi' Eddie [...] Any Eddie is the best Eddie and he's just the top of the top to me, and anything I do is in his honour, man — the mullet, everything. So for me, yeah. He's the man."

When asked if he wished Guerrero had won the famous 'Custody of Dominik Ladder Match' at SummerSlam 2005, the Judgment Day member did not sit on the fence:

"Yeah, 100%. And I mean, WWE storyline, he is my dad. [...] I would've loved to have gone home with Uncle Eddie at this point, right? I feel like we would've had a really good dynamic at home."

Dominik's comments are in line with his current on-screen persona, having betrayed father Rey Mysterio and aligned with the villainous Judgment Day stable - also featuring Finn Balor, Damian Priest and recent Royal Rumble winner Rhea Ripley.

Dominik himself had a good showing in the Men's Royal Rumble match, lasting over 25 minutes - although he was only able to notch a single elimination, that of Johnny Gargano.
