Eddie Kingston Wants Match With Japanese Star

Eddie Kingston vs. Masa Kitamiya?!

Is the relationship between All Elite Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH set to deepen?

Speaking with Wrestle Inn, NOAH's Masa Kitamiya suddenly revealed that he wants to face Eddie Kingston inside the squared circle, a challenge which The Mad King responded to soon after, tweeting: "Ok my man, tell your boss to get it on. I already told my boss. But remember you call me out I take it real serious. I'm on that 730 s**t yonkers home of the brave."

Kitamiya then reiterated his keenness for the match to take place, replying: "I can't wait to see it come to fruition. I'm ready."

Any match between Kitamiya and Eddie Kingston now only needs the approval of Tony Khan and Pro Wrestling NOAH. The two parties recently worked together, with The Great Muta appearing at Rampage Grand Slam in 2022 before Sting and Darby Allin teamed with Muta in his retirement match on January 22.

Kingston has faced the likes of Tomohiro Ishii and Jun Akiyama at recent AEW pay-per-view pre-shows so he could conceivably take on Kitamiya at Revolution on March 5. Kitamiya has spent much of his career in NOAH, where he is a six-time GHC Tag Team Champion.
