Don Callis Says He Is Building A New Family In AEW To Destroy The Elite

Don Callis does not have good intentions on his mind in All Elite Wrestling.

After turning on Kenny Omega and convincing Konosuke Takeshita to jumping knee Omega’s head off during Anarchy in the Arena at AEW Double or Nothing, Callis took the mic during the May 31 edition of AEW: Dynamite, putting over Takeshita and explaining his future plans to a chorus of deafening boos.

Callis claimed that Takeshita is better than the likes of Japanese wrestling legends Rikidozan, Antonio Inoki, Akira Maeda, Keiji Muto, and Kazuchika Okada, and proclaimed that he will ‘build a new family’ with ‘new son’ Takeshita, and that they will cut The Elite out of All Elite Wrestling.

Whether this sees Callis form a new heel stable or whether this is laying the seeds for a multi-man match at Forbidden Door on June 25 is anyone’s guess, but for now all we know is that Don Callis still knows how to draw immense heat, and Takeshita has his sights set on Omega.
