Kenny Omega is ‘not in Canada’ according to Hangman Page on AEW Dynamite
The post-Double or Nothing edition of AEW Dynamite saw The Elite in reflective mood after their loss to the Blackpool Combat Club in Anarchy in the Arena II.
The trio of Hangman Page and The Young Bucks were downbeat when talking to Alex Marvez backstage on Dynamite, with Kenny Omega noticeably absent from the building. Marvez suggested that Omega was in rough shape and had left the United States to return home to Canada, to which Hangman Page revealed that Kenny had left the States, but he wasn’t in Canada.
Whilst this could have been a throwaway line, fans online have looked deeper and are speculating that Omega has travelled abroad to seek back-up against The Blackpool Combat Club, and the nefarious duo of Don Callis and Konosuke Takeshita.
With AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door II around the corner, it could be that current IWGP United States Champion Omega has returned to his old stomping ground New Japan Pro Wrestling to seek some assistance, although there is a very notable Japanese free agent on the market who was a very storied past with Omega and The Elite.
