Don West Expresses Gratitude For Support Following Brain Lymphoma Diagnosis

West was diagnosed last month

Former TNA Wrestling commentator Don West has taken to social media to thank fans for their outpouring of love and support in the wake of his brain lymphoma diagnosis.

West revealed in June that he is sadly battling against a brain lymphoma and is undergoing chemotherapy treatment in a bit to defeat the insidious condition.

West has now taken to Twitter to issue an update on his condition and has expressed his sincerest gratitude to all those who have reached out.

Writing on social media, he said: "I know that I am going through a tough deal but seeing all of your well wishes has boosted my spirit tremendously.

"Thank you to everyone for your support and your prayers and your kindness and I am going to beat this cancer so that I can go on the air again."

West worked in TNA for ten years from 2002 to 2012, and is best known as the colour commentator alongside Mike Tenay. He returned to the company in 2017 for Slammiversary XV.
