Drew McIntyre Reacts To Omission From WWE Royal Rumble Poster

Drew McIntyre expresses frustration with WWE Royal Rumble poster

Drew McIntyre has expressed his frustration with a recent WWE decision.

The company have no further pay-per-views planned for the remainder of 2023, with the next major WWE event scheduled to be the 2024 Royal Rumble on January 27 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. WWE recently released the poster for the show and while the likes of Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Dominik Mysterio, and Bobby Lashley were featured, Drew McIntyre was nowhere to be seen.

McIntyre has since reacted to his omission, writing, "Are you starting to understand my frustrations now?" in response to a tweet of the poster. Why WWE decided not to feature McIntyre on the Royal Rumble poster is unknown but his deal is scheduled to expire around WrestleMania 40 and recent reports have noted McIntyre is willing to allow his contract to end. McIntyre was recently featured on the WWE Bash in Berlin poster, though, an event that takes place in August 2024.

McIntyre's tweet coincides with his new attitude on WWE TV as the two-time WWE Champion turned heel in recent weeks, aligning with Judgment Day for WarGames at Survivor Series. McIntyre then expressed frustration with Jey Uso receiving a World Heavyweight Title shot on Raw despite McIntyre picking up a win over Jey ahead of Survivor Series.

McIntyre was recently legitimately frustrated within WWE, storming out of the Allstate Arena following the main event of Survivor Series.
