Drew McIntyre: Ridge Holland Has A Really Good Future In WWE

Holland was called up to SmackDown in the draft

Drew McIntyre has heaped praise on Ridge Holland, saying the newest WWE SmackDown recruit has the potential to have a 'really good future' in the promotion.

Holland was drafted to SmackDown from NXT in the 2021 WWE Draft and is reportedly a talent that WWE officials have earmarked as a future World Champion. The former Rugby League star made a name for himself on WWE's developmental brand, and came back from a number of nasty leg injuries sustained in 2020.

McIntyre, a former WWE Champion, has been speaking to Holland on messenger and is looking forward to seeing what the newest addition to the WWE blue brand can offer on the main roster.

The Scotsman is anticipating a bright future for the 33-year-old.

Talking to Telegraph and Argus, McIntyre said: "I want to see what he (Holland) is made of. I have spoken to him a few times on messenger. He looks the part. He has worked hard on his appearance. On potential, he has a really good future.”
