Two blonde WWE Superstars could have been united on the main roster had the company went forward with a pitched storyline.
WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix revealed on Thursday that she pitched to be introduced as Brock Lesnar's sister during her early days with the company.
"Fun Fact: At one of my first gigs as a @WWE extra I pitched a detailed storyline to Michael Hayes to be brought in as Brock Lesnar’s sister. I had ZERO CHILL," Phoenix tweeted.
The Glamazon signed a developmental contract with WWE in 2004, but she would ultimately bypass Lesnar, who exited Vince McMahon's promotion following WrestleMania 20 after two years as a top star on SmackDown.
Phoenix would eventually debut on the main roster in 2006, briefly aligning herself with Trish Stratus, and she would go on to become a three-time Women's Champion and one-time Divas Champion during her run with the company. She would retire from in-ring action in 2012 before brief returns in 2018 and 2019. Phoenix is currently a colour commentator on NXT 2.0.
