Drew McIntyre Vs. Goldberg Set For WWE Royal Rumble 2021

Following their confrontation on Raw Legends Night, the feud between Drew McIntyre and Goldberg continued on last night's edition of Monday Night Raw.

McIntyre couldn't be inside the ThunderDome in person following his positive COVID-19 test and he cut a promo on the two-time Universal Champion from his home instead. The Scottish Psychopath referenced Goldberg's comments from last week and admitted he didn't want to accept the WWE Hall Of Famer's challenge at first because "you challenging me, that's like challenging yourself in your prime." That all changed after the 54-year-old attacked him, though, and McIntyre accepted Goldberg's challenge.

With the WWE Champion in quarantine, much of the rivalry will have to take place from a distance. McIntyre addressed his positive COVID-19 test during the show and urged people to wear a face mask and follow social distancing guidelines.
