WWE and All Elite Wrestling shows have been impacted by COVID-19 over the past week. Thunder Rosa was originally scheduled to face Britt Baker on night two of New Year's Smash, but she was pulled from the show after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus. WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is also currently in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19, and Ringside News and Wrestling Observer Online have both reported that a SmackDown Superstar tested positive last week.

According to Fightful Select, shows from WWE, AEW and IMPACT Wrestling have all been affected by the latest round of positive tests and several matches and appearances have been scrapped.

IMPACT is planning to tape two months worth of content this weekend and next week and people set for the tapings have been affected by the latest outbreak. How they have been affected is currently unknown. AEW taped both nights of New Year's Smash last week.

Fightful also noted that people within WWE were expecting more positive COVID-19 tests following the Christmas period and were surprised there weren't more.
