Drew McIntyre Wants WWE Match Against AJ Styles

After Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania?

Even though Drew McIntyre is preparing to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 36 in April, the 2020 men's Royal Rumble winner is already looking forwards to other potential opponents.

One man he wants to face inside a WWE ring is former WWE Champion AJ Styles since the pair have missed the opportunity to wrestle each other over the course of their illustrious careers.

Speaking with WrestlingInc, here's what McIntyre had to say about Styles when he was asked about potential upcoming opponents: "There are a few, but the number one guy who I keep missing over the years – we are like ships crossing each other over the night – we missed the chance on IMPACT and the independent scene. Promoters are trying to book this match for a long time, but for some reason or another I couldn't make it, he couldn't make it. When I came back to Raw he was on SmackDown.

"I don't think, I know we could have great matches and do a lot of cool things together. It's been years coming so I am looking forward to it."
