Dustin Rhodes and AEW are still waiting to come to terms on a new deal, according to a recent report.

Fightful Select reported that the 55-year-old's contract ran out at either the end of September or start of October. Rhodes last wrestled on the September 25 Ring of Honor HonorClub taping (which aired on October 3).

The Natural is currently a double ROH champion, holding the ROH World Tag Team Titles with Sammy Guevara and the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles alongside Marshall and Ross Von Erich.

Despite this, negotiations continue between Rhodes and AEW, with nothing done as of yet.

It was reported in late September that Dustin was expected to sign a new contract with Tony Khan's company.

The artist formerly known as Goldust has been plenty busy of late, running his Rhodes Wrestling Academy training school and launching the Rhodes Wrestling Association offshoot promotion. The group will have their debut show on November 21 in Leander, Texas.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion had previously said that 2023 would be his final year in the ring, but he ended up delaying those retirement plans.
