Dustin Rhodes had a lengthy history with WWE, working off and on with the promotion for two decades under his ‘Goldust’ gimmick. Rhodes also competed in the likes of WCW and TNA, but eventually wound up in AEW when the company began in 2019. At 56 years of age, Rhodes’ in-ring career is steadily running down, drumming up talk of a potential return to WWE before finally hanging up the boots.

Rhodes isn’t quite on board with the idea of a WWE return, responding to a question on social media about where he will finish up his career and whether it would be in WWE, revealing that it will be in AEW.

"Nope!! AEW is where I will finish. Only place I have ever felt respected."

It was revealed at the end of last year that Dustin Rhodes had put pen to paper on a multi-year deal with AEW, keeping him locked into the company for the foreseeable future. Rhodes currently reigns as both one half of the ROH World Tag Team Champions alongside Sammy Guevara, and one third of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions alongside the Von Erichs.
