Aleister Black made his return to WWE programming on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, confirming reports of him re-signing with the company after parting ways with AEW earlier this year. Black arrived to confront The Miz, hitting him with his Black Mass finisher, setting up his return match for next week’s show.

On the back of his comeback to WWE programming, a mini-documentary on Black was released by Josiah Williams of Wrestle & Flow, in which Black spoke on his future in the business, revealing how much he still has left in the tank.

"I'm 39. I hope that I have another five to eight years left in me. Physically, I feel great. I think this is the best I've looked physically as well. Technology changes, nutrition changes, science changes, sports science changes. You see athletes getting older and older and being able to perform at higher levels, even when they're old. I definitely feel I'm part of that in certain aspects, but I have no illusions about this that the majority of my career is well past me, absolutely. That's not a sad thing, that's a good thing. Being able to survive for this long and staying relevant, I'd say that's something I'm definitely proud of."

He spoke on the fact that he overlooked how dedicated the fanbase was for him, detailing the heartwarming feeling he has felt in the love shown towards his career - something he will take with him going forwards.
