EC3 Signs With Ring Of Honor

ROH confirmed the news this week

Ring of Honor has announced that EC3 has signed an official contract with the company.

The former IMPACT World Champion and NXT star made his debut for the company in October 2020 after a brief run back in IMPACT.

EC3 was originally scheduled to face Jay Briscoe at ROH Final Battle 2020 PPV, but the match was nixed due to EC3 testing positive for COVID-19. EC3 recently made a surprise return to ROH TV, again challenging Briscoe.

This contract announcement puts to bed rumours about EC3’s future. After being released from WWE, EC3 teased working for a number of promotions, before his afore-mentioned fleeting appearances for IMPACT and ROH.

ROH hasn’t divulged any information pertaining to the terms of EC3’s contract aside from the fact that he has indeed signed. Regardless, this is a great get for ROH, and if EC3 can regain his pre-NXT form then he could help ROH become must-see once more.
