Eddie Edwards Re-Signs With IMPACT Wrestling

Former IMPACT World Champion Edwards has signed a new contract with IMPACT Wrestling

Eddie Edwards has signed a new deal with IMPACT Wrestling.

The former two-time IMPACT World Champion recently put pen to paper on a new deal, saying the following to Sports Illustrated:

“I’ve been here for almost eight years, and I’ve done a lot, and there is still a lot more for me to prove.”

No details have been revealed as to the nature of Edwards’ deal, but with Edwards currently serving as one of IMPACT’s biggest heels due to his defection to Honor No More, tying down the former American Wolf to a new deal represents good business by the promotion.

Since joining TNA/IMPACT in 2014, Edwards has won a plethora of titles in the company, reigning as the eighth ever Triple Crown Champion in company history.

Edwards was also the first ever Ring of Honor Triple Crown Champion, with his defection to ROH in IMPACT making a whole host of personal and storyline sense due to this fact. Edwards has also held gold in Pro Wrestling NOAH.
