Tomohiro Ishii To Make IMPACT Debut At Multiverse Of Matches

Ishii at IMPACT Multiverse Of Matches!

While New Japan Pro-Wrestling vs. Pro Wrestling NOAH took place back in January, both promotions will renew hostilities at IMPACT Wrestling's upcoming Multiverse Of Matches show.

IMPACT announced on Wednesday that NJPW's Tomohiro Ishii will go one-on-one with Eddie Edwards, who will represent NOAH at the event.

The appearance will be Ishii's IMPACT debut. Ishii previously performed in the United States in November of 2021 where he defeated Jay White for the NEVER Openweight Title before he teamed with Orange Cassidy on AEW Dynamite against The Butcher and The Blade.

Multiverse of Matches will take place at WrestleCon on Friday, April 1, during WrestleMania 38 Week. The Stone Pitbull will be in action before IMPACT's show as he is scheduled to take on Chris Dickinson at NJPW Lonestar Shootout earlier in the evening.

IMPACT also announced Jay White will clash with Chris Sabin at Multiverse of Matches. The Switchblade recently defeated his former mentor and Sabin's tag team partner Alex Shelley at Sacrifice.
