AEW Secure Classic WWE Theme For Jeff Hardy's Debut

Jeff Hardy debuted to the classic Hardy Boys theme on AEW Dynamite

As seen on the March 9 edition of AEW: Dynamite, Jeff Hardy is ‘All Elite’, and as heard on Dynamite, Jeff came out to the classic Hardy Boyz theme music.

It was certainly surreal to hear such an iconic WWE theme in an AEW arena, but according to a report from Fightful Select, it was more straightforward than you’d imagine.

Whereas WWE usually use in-house music teams to create their themes such as Jim Johnstone, CFO$, and Def Rebel, The Hardy’s theme was produced by Zack Tempest, with the rights not exclusive to WWE. WWE do own the rights to ‘No More Words’ but Jeff has said in the past that he would not use that theme if he was to tag with Matt again, treating it as a purely solo theme.

The Hardys’ theme ‘Loaded’ has been heard on multiple different shows and advertisements such, and all AEW had to do was gain the rights from Tempest to use the theme on AEW programming.

Interestingly, AEW licensed the entire library of Tempest’s music that ‘Loaded’ was a part of when they realised Jeff was coming into the company, and this includes the classic Hardcore/Crash Holly theme.
