Eddie Kingston Vs. Konosuke Takeshita & More Set For AEW Rampage

New matches set for AEW Rampage

Eddie Kingston and Konosuke Takeshita will go one-on-one in a headline match on Friday's taped episode of AEW Rampage. The match was booked on last night's edition of AEW Dynamite.

This will be the first time that Kingston and Takeshita have faced off in singles action. They have clashed in the past, though, when Takeshita and MAO unsuccessfully challenged for Kingston and Joe Gacy's EVOLVE Tag Team Titles at EVOLVE 125 in April 2019.

Also set for Rampage is Orange Cassidy vs. Tony Nese. The match came about after 'Smart' Mark Sterling asked Cassidy and Best Friends to sign a petition calling for Swerve Strickland to be fired. If Nese wins, Cassidy will add his name to the list.

ROH Women's World Champion Mercedes Martinez will also team with Serena Deeb again. The two competitors have been aligned in recent weeks since the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view on May 29.

The three matches join Gates of Agony vs. Jonathan Gresham and Lee Moriarty, which had already been announced for Rampage.
