Edge Appearance Announced For 2/28 WWE Raw

What's his path to WrestleMania?

It was announced during Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown that Edge will be appearing on this Monday's Raw, in order to address his status for WrestleMania 38.

On this past Monday's Raw, Edge went over his WrestleMania history, discussing his first WrestleMania, as well as all the marquee matches that he'd taken part in through the decades. He closed his promo by issuing an open challenge for WrestleMania 38, noting the history that would be made by facing him.

In his career, Edge is 7-5 at WrestleMania. After retiring shortly after WrestleMania 27 in 2011 due to spinal stenosis, Edge returned to the ring in 2020. Since then, he's competed at two WrestleManias, first defeating Randy Orton in a Last Man Standing match at WrestleMania 36, before losing a triple threat match (alongside Daniel Bryan) to Universal champion Roman Reigns last year.

The current card for this Monday's Raw, taking place at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH, is as follows:

* WWE United States: Damian Priest (c) vs. Finn Balor

* An appearance from Edge
