Edge's Return, United States Title Match Set For WWE SmackDown
Next Week's SmackDown Will Feature A Huge United States Championship Match And The Return Of Edge
WWE is already giving fans plenty of reasons to tune in to next week’s (July 7) episode of SmackDown.
After Austin Theory continued to attack Ridge Holland after their match on the June 30 edition of SmackDown, Sheamus ran down to make the save for his fellow Brawling Brute.
Now, the Celtic Warrior will get a shot at Theory’s United States Championship in a title match next week. The Irishman will be looking to win the belt for a fourth time.
Also announced for the show was the return of Edge, who hasn’t been seen on SmackDown since he competed in a Triple Threat Match on May 12. He’ll be joining Grayson Waller on his talk show, The Grayson Waller Effect.
Elsewhere on the card, AJ Styles will be taking on Karrion Kross. The OC leader has threatened to get Michin involved if Scarlett runs any more interference in her client’s matches.
The July 7, 2023 episode of SmackDown will be held in WWE’s spiritual home of Madison Square Garden.
