El Desperado Wants Match With AEW's Jon Moxley

Despe wants to face Jon Moxley

Forbidden Door might be over but a New Japan Pro-Wrestling star wants to go one-on-one with Jon Moxley.

Former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion El Desperado called out Moxley following the New Japan Road event on Sunday, telling The Purveyor of Violence that he'll even face him in the United States.

Despe said: "Since then, I've had 'Wild Thing' stuck in my head. Moxley! He's enticing. He's made his mark in the NJPW and AEW rings. He bleeds. He makes his opponents bleed. Boy, that looks like fun. I want a piece. I'm not sure where, I'll go anywhere if you're game. America? I really don't want to fly anymore but if you call me out, I'll come. I want to have some fun too. I await your reply."

If Moxley will respond to Despe's challenge remains to be seen.

Both men were in action at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view on June 26. Desperado teamed with Yoshinobu Kanemaru on the Buy-In in a loss to Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland. Jon Moxley, meanwhile, defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in the pay-per-view main event to win the Interim AEW World Championship.
