Episodes Of AEW: Dynamite Rescheduled Because Of NBA Playoffs

The NBA playoffs are fast approaching and the first round is set to begin on August 17. During the first two rounds, games will be split between TNT, ESPN and ABC.

With this in mind, TNT announced last night that three editions of AEW: Dynamite have been rescheduled. This will start from the August 19 episode, which has been moved to August 22 at 6 pm ET, meaning it will go head to head with NXT TakeOver: XXX in the second hour. The August 26 show was also moved to August 27 at 8 pm ET and the September 16 edition of Dynamite was rescheduled for September 17 at 8 pm.

TNT issued the following press release:

"Due to the NBA’s schedule, AEW: Dynamite will make the following shifts on TNT:
* The Wednesday, August 19 episode will air on Saturday, August 22 at 6:00pm ET / 3:00pm PT
* The Wednesday, August 26 episode will air Thursday, August 27 at 8:00pm ET/PT
* The Wednesday, September 16 episode will air Thursday, September 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT"

The NBA playoffs were originally scheduled to begin on April 18, but the season was suspended on March 11 because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
