Eric Bischoff Predicts WWE NXT Will Beat AEW Dynamite In The Ratings

Ratings, those all important ratings. The driver of success during the Monday Night Wars, TV ratings are still a measuring stick of a particular wrestling programme’s success in the modern era, despite not being quite as important as they once were.

One person who knows all about a ratings battle is Eric Bischoff, and the former WCW President has predicted that NXT will surpass AEW Dynamite in the ratings, saying the following on the Strictly Business podcast:

"I think if we continue to see it, I can see, in fact I predicted it last year, or early this year, I said at some point in time, NXT is going to out-perform Dynamite. They’re within about a 100,000 viewers or less of doing that. I predicted it would happen this summer, and I’m gonna stick with that. Let’s get to work, guys," Bischoff said.

NXT’s ratings have increased over the past few months, with the integration of main roster talents such as The Judgment Day - especially Dominik Mysterio - helping bring more eyes to the product.
