WWE NXT Title Match Set For Heatwave

The NXT Championship will be on the line at next week's special Heatwave edition of the Tuesday night show. 

Carmelo Hayes will be defending the NXT Title against Wes Lee, with the former MSK member earning a title shot after he defeated Dijak in a number one contender's match on the August 15 edition of NXT. Lee and Dijak had a widely-praised match earlier this year and their chemistry remained on display, with Lee picking up the victory with a Sky Twister Press. 

Wes Lee and Carmelo Hayes have had issues in recent weeks since they teamed together on August 1 and lost to Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. Lee smashed Hayes' autograph table following his win on NXT and the two competitors signed the contract for next week's title match to close out the August 15 show.
