Eric Bischoff Reacts To Karrion Kross' WWE Release: "What The Hell?"

Bischoff was surprised

While Karrion Kross looked set to achieve big things in WWE, the two-time NXT Champion was released by the company on Thursday, November 4 along with the likes of Keith Lee, Eva Marie, Blake Christian and Taya Valkyrie.

Eris Bischoff discussed the WWE releases on 83 Weeks and the former WCW President expressed surprise at Kross being let go.

"Karrion Kross, what the hell? To get that close and have the rug get pulled out from underneath you is emotionally really, really devastating because of the time and the commitment that goes into trying to make it to the big leagues," Bischoff said.

Bischoff noted it isn't all bad news for the released talent, though, as many of them will have plenty of opportunities outside of WWE.

"But again going back to what I'm thinking when I saw this is once they get out of the funk, the disappointment of being let go, it's just nothing but opportunity, man. It's hard to look at it that way when you have just been kicked in the teeth, when your dreams have all been kind of shattered and taken away from you but that's just a moment in time. They've got the talent or they wouldn't be there in the first place."

Karrion Kross wasn't the only release Bischoff was surprised by and he also gave his thoughts on Ember Moon and Harry Smith being let go.
