Kurt Angle: Bron Breakker Will Be One Of WWE's Very Top Guys

Breakker has been heavily pushed in NXT

Kurt Angle is not necessarily sure if Bron Breakker will become the guy WWE is built around in the future but expects the NXT star to be one of the promotion's top individuals.

Breakker seems set for the very top of WWE after his initial push on NXT 2.0, with the youngster thrusted immediately into a program with NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa. The 24-year-old has looked impressive since making his debut in mid-September.

Only a very small handful of individuals become the name WWE builds itself around, such as Steve Austin, John Cena and Roman Reigns, and while Angle doesn't know if Breakker will reach that particular level, he can see great things in the youngster's future.

On the latest episode of The Kurt Angle Show Podcast, Angle said: "Bron is a talented individual. I love his style, he’s very physical. I think the company could do a lot of good with him. I don’t know if he’s the guy that you want to build the company around, but I do believe that he should be one of the very top guys eventually.

"He’s that talented, he can be something very special if they use him right.”

When asked about the decision to refer to him as 'Bron Breakker' and not lean into his lineage as a Steiner, Angle responded: "You know what, the kid can decide for himself what he wants to call himself. I wouldn’t take offense to it. I don’t think it’s a problem."
