Eric Young Teases A Big Change Is Coming

An update from Eric Young

Eric Young is getting back to work and the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion has teased he has a big change coming.

"Time to work!!!! When the world hands you lemons…… we'll you know the rest! See you all again real soon! BIG CHANGE COMING!!!" Young posted on Twitter along with a photo of an empty document on a tablet.

Young hasn't been seen in professional wrestling since he was 'stabbed' by Deaner on the December 1, 2022, episode of IMPACT Wrestling. Reports have since noted that Young re-signed with WWE shortly before he was written out of IMPACT, being brought back to the company along with several other talents after Triple H was appointed Chief Content Officer.

Young's new role in WWE is unknown and not only has he not appeared on-screen, he hasn't been seen backstage at any WWE events since he put pen to paper on a new contract. Following the Twitter post, there have been suggestions that Young will be involved on the creative side of WWE.

EY previously worked for WWE from 2016 until his release in 2020. He was a featured performer on NXT TV during his time as the leader of SAnitY but he ended up being utilised as an enhancement talent after the stable split.

Outside of pro wrestling, Young has been working for FTN Bets to give fans tips on Fantasy Ice Hockey.
