EXCLUSIVE: AJ Francis' TNA Contract Still Expiring At The End Of The Year

One of TNA Wrestling's most-featured performers could be set to leave the promotion at the end of the year.

Speaking exclusively to Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell, AJ Francis revealed that his TNA contract is still set to expire at the end of 2024. The former Top Dolla is open to re-signing with the promotion if a new deal makes sense, however.

"If the money is right and the deal is right I would sign tomorrow night. Currently, the deal that I have with TNA goes through December 31st, and January 1st I am open in the wild," Francis began.

"I am 100 per cent down with the possibility of re-signing with TNA. It's just gotta make sense, it's got to be worth what I know I'm worth. Some people get bogged down by a lot of different things when it comes to contract negotiations, mine is very simple. Do I believe you are going to push me the way I deserve to be pushed and how much money am I going to make? That’s very simple," he continued.

"TNA has done a very good job of giving me a lot of opportunities over the past year...Do I respect the fact that TNA has done a lot for me over the past year? Absolutely, and I've loved my time at TNA. I've loved the fact that Tommy Dreamer believed in me - now everybody's like 'Wow, AJ’s so talented'- but flash forward back a year ago when I got fired, the only person that believed in me was Tommy Dreamer. I take that into account as well. There's a lot of things there. I have proven over the past year that I am one of the top stars and the top heel in this business."

AJ Francis made his TNA debut at January's Hard to Kill pay-per-view. He is the leader of the promotion's First Class faction and he is a former TNA Digital Media Champion, having held the gold from June 6 until Slammiversary on July 20.
