Report: No Current WWE Plans To Book Bron Breakker Vs. Jacob Fatu
WWE may revisit Bron Breakker vs. Jacob Fatu down the line, though
Oct 25, 2024
A surprise major moment occurred on Monday Night Raw this week as Jacob Fatu and Bron Breakker came face-to-face during Breakker's Intercontinental Title match against Jey Uso.
The face-to-face occurred after The Bloodline interfered in the match and Bron Breakker accidentally speared Solo Sikoa, with Jacob Fatu showing his unhappiness at Breakker taking out his 'Tribal Chief.'
The crowd in Philadelphia erupted at the prospect of Breakker and Fatu coming to blows but fans won't get to see the match, at least in the near future.
WrestleVotes reported on WrestleVotes Radio that people within WWE were "stunned" at the reaction. There are no current plans for Breakker vs. Fatu to take place but WWE feel like they stumbled onto something big they can revisit.
"The Bron Breaker-Jacob Fatu face-off...we're told there was heavy, heavy internal praise on how well this came off, especially the reaction from the live crowd in Philadelphia. We were told numerous people backstage enjoyed it and were almost stunned by how big of a reaction these two men got. We can say there is nothing in the short-term plan between the two right now, but the feeling is creatively that they certainly stumbled onto something big…We’re told nothing immediately, certainly don't look for it in the next couple of weeks or even months but this is something that they can draw back to really easily," WrestleVotes said.
Following the face-off with Fatu, Bron Breakker went on to regain the Intercontinental Championship from Jey Uso, becoming a two-time IC champion in the process.
