WWE already have working relationships with TNA Wrestling and Pro Wrestling NOAH, but the company could be set to expand their influence.
Reports have noted that WWE are in talks with Carlos Colon's World Wrestling Council (WWC) promotion about a potential talent exchange. Carlito, the son of Carlos Colon, has reportedly been tentatively planned for a match at WWC for months.
Sources have told Cultaholic that everybody in WWC is extremely excited about the prospect of partnering with WWE. They consider a potential relationship with WWE to be a godsend for the promotion, as well as Puerto Rico as a whole.
WWE and WWC were on friendly terms while Vince McMahon was the head of WWE. This included an arrangement that allowed Primo and Epico to wrestle for Carlos Colon's promotion while signed to WWE.
WWE are also set to expand into Mexico following the announcement that WWE will acquire Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. One option which has been discussed within WWE is to rebrand AAA as NXT Mexico.
