Exclusive: Doc Gallows Wants Karl Anderson To Have A Main Event Singles Run In IMPACT Wrestling

Could the IMPACT World Championship be in Machine Gun KA's future...

At Slammiversary 2020, The Good Brothers debuted in IMPACT Wrestling and made the save for the new IMPACT World Champion Eddie Edwards.

Fans were somewhat surprised Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson decided to sign with IMPACT, but during a recent chat with Tom Campbell, The Good Brothers revealed they signed with the promotion because IMPACT "courted us beautifully" and they felt they could help their new home grow again.

"They courted us beautifully and they basically gave us everything that we wanted," Big LG said. "So, it was a layup. They were on us aggressively."

Karl Anderson added: "The day everything went down in April with the WWE, I mean, their executives reached out to us within minutes and just said, 'Hey, you know, I'm sorry about what happened but as soon as you guys are ready to talk we want to talk.' And it was two and a half months of talking and figuring things out and realising no matter what, man, it might sound like a surprise to people, but IMPACT was the place we were gonna land and that's what we're so excited about.

"That IMPACT needed a little shot in the arm, right. They needed to get some eyes on them and I think we absolutely did that at Slammiversary and proved that we can turn the dial, and show people that people do want to see us, and people want to see The Good Brothers and people are going to sit back and watch IMPACT now."

The three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions also might not spend their whole run in IMPACT as a tag team as Gallows revealed he wants to see Machine Gun KA enter the world title picture and even go on a singles run of his own.

The former Freakin' Deacon said: "I think everybody. I mean, you know, we're not selfish when it comes to each other. I want to see Karl in a world heavyweight title picture because I think that him and Eddie Edwards will tear it up. And I want to pull back some layers to myself as a serious competitor and bring out some brutality I don't think anybody has seen on American TV before.

"Then, of course, you've got The Motor City Machine Guns, that's a dream tag team match. You've got Heath and Rhino without the handcuffs on, they're former world tag team champions. You've got The North, who I think is a great young tag team."
