EXCLUSIVE: EC3 Confirmed To Be Part Geordie, Wants To 'Hook Up' With Ant & Dec

Another member of the Carter family wants to catch up with Ant & Dec. 

It was shockingly revealed back in November 2019 that UK TV personality and resident Geordie Declan Donnelly is a distant relative of former TNA President Dixie Carter as they share a Great Great Great Great Grandfather. The unexpected family connection was revealed on Ant & Dec's DNA Journey. 

"YES.....Declan Donnelly is my cousin! It's not a wrestling storyline. Dec's fabulous. Ant too. Been hard keeping this secret. Catch the finale of #AntAndDecDNAJourney on @ITV TONIGHT at 9 pm. @antanddec @bgt @impactwrestling #family #cousinlove," Carter posted at the time. 

Following the shock meeting between Dixie Carter and Dec in 2019, EC3 now wants to catch up with the host of Britain's Got Talent, he revealed exclusively to Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell on Desert Island Graps.

"We have to hook up because we are blood. It was really strange for me being fired from WWE in 2013, this curly-haired idiot named Derrick Bateman. I did the same thing, I looked up my family tree. Lo and behold! Dixie Carter's my aunt," EC3 stated.

EC3 was revealed as Dixie Carter's storyline nephew following his TNA Wrestling debut in 2013. Performing as Ethan Carter III, he went on to have a successful run in TNA until 2018 which saw him become a two-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion. 

EC3 is now a part of the National Wrestling Alliance and he is the reigning NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. He will next defend the title on October 28 at the Samhain pay-per-view against Thom Latimer.
