Exclusive: Ethan Page "Pumped" Ahead Of Headlining AEW Rampage's Head-To-Head Episode With WWE SmackDown

All Ego is looking forward to the match

Ethan Page is "pumped" ahead of headlining a historic episode of AEW Rampage.

AEW's Friday night show will go head-to-head with WWE SmackDown for the first time tonight. WWE initially booked a supersized edition of SmackDown on FS1 for October 15 that will air against the first 30 minutes of Rampage. AEW President Tony Khan quickly ramped up the battle, though, and a special Rampage Buy In will air on YouTube from 9 pm ET, during SmackDown's second hour.

Rampage will be headlined by The Men Of The Year and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos vs. The Inner Circle's Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager.

Speaking to Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell on Desert Island Graps ahead of the match, Ethan Page admitted he's loving being in such a high-profile spot and he's pumped for the match.

"I love it. I have to take myself out of these moments sometimes to actually understand how big they are because you obsess over everything, you worry over everything, you want everything to be perfect. I have to pull myself out and just look at everything from a fresh set of eyes and just be like, okay, you came into this company, debuted at a pay-per-view. It was awesome. Then the first real thing you did was with Darby Allin and Sting. Then the next thing you do is lock horns with Canadian legend Chris Jericho and now we're gonna go head-to-head with SmackDown," Page stated.

'We're the main event. We have a former UFC Heavyweight Champion on our side with Jorge Masvidal in our corner, one of the most celebrated fighters right now. And Dan Lambert might be one of the most hated human beings in pro wrestling so it's a huge match, it's a huge opportunity. I love it, I'm so pumped."
