Drew McIntyre has been out of action due to niggling issues since WrestleMania 39 but Ridge Holland expects his ally on TV to eventually return to the squared circle in WWE.

"He's fine. Drew's fine. He's probably in the gym as we speak lifting two cows, the big human. He's fine, Drew's good. I don't know for sure, I don't know anything, I just know how to throw a headbutt. I think, whether it's a month from now, two months from now, three months from now, you'll see Drew McIntyre back in a WWE ring," Holland exclusively told Cultaholic Wrestling's Tom Campbell.

Recent reports had noted that WWE want McIntyre to be back on TV in time for Money in the Bank weekend, with the pay-per-view and the go-home episode of SmackDown both set to take place at The O2 in London, England. The belief is McIntyre won't make his return until he and WWE agree on creative.

McIntyre remains one of the biggest WWE stars in the United Kingdom and he headlined Clash at the Castle - WWE's first UK pay-per-view in 19 years - in September 2022 when he challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

WWE brings Money In The Bank to The O2 in London on Saturday, 1st July. For tickets click here. Fans can tune in on the WWE Network.
