WWE's plans for tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown are very much "in flux" after Brock Lesnar walked out ahead of the taping in Boston, Massachusetts, a source close to Cultaholic Wrestling has revealed.

Lesnar was set to be prominently featured on tonight's edition of SmackDown ahead of his Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam on July 30. The Beast Incarnate walked out of the taping, though, following Vince McMahon's announcement that he was retiring from WWE, with reports noting that Brock uttered in some form: "If he's gone, I'm gone."

If Lesnar will return ultimately remains to be seen but the source close to Cultaholic Wrestling noted WWE will make overtures to bring Goldberg in as a last-minute replacement for the main event of SummerSlam if they are unable to convince Brock to come back over the next week.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently revealed he is still under contract with WWE and he is simply waiting for that one call to have another match inside the squared circle.
