Report: Brock Lesnar Walks Out Of WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar has left the building

Brock Lesnar has walked out of Friday Night SmackDown tonight following Vince McMahon's announcement that he is retiring from WWE, according to Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez.

Alvarez simply tweeted: "From several sources, Brock Lesnar has left Smackdown." He later added: "Brock's line was some derivative of, 'If he's gone, I'm gone.'"

Fightful Select also confirmed that Lesnar had walked out of SmackDown, noting the former WWE Champion was "very p*ssed off" after he found out about McMahon's retirement from WWE.

The Beast Incarnate was scheduled to make an appearance on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown from Boston, Massachusetts ahead of his Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam on July 30.

Lesnar has said in the past that he and Vince have had a love-hate relationship over the past 20 years but that he views the now-former WWE Chairman as a father figure.

If and how Lesnar walking out of SmackDown will affect the SummerSlam main event remains to be seen with the show just over one week away.
