Former WWE star Ezekiel Jackson is set to wrestle his first match for almost a decade when he steps back into the ring in March.
The one-time WWE Intercontinental Champion announced on his YouTube channel that he will be competing for FWE in North Carolina on March 15.
"I keep asking myself if I ended my career the way I wanted to, and for the most part, I didn’t. So, I've always had that little chip on my shoulder, wanting to finish things on my terms. I've also had a bucket list of people I'd love to compete against, so we're looking into scheduling a few things," he said.
The 46-year-old, who also worked for TNA as Rycklon and Lucha Underground as Big Ryck, last wrestled for German promotion wXw in October 2015.
Jackson noted the need to adapt his training in order to get into ring shape, saying: "I'm adding more cardio-based workouts, incorporating some rowing, and I'll be getting in the ring a few times this week and in the coming weeks".
In October 2024, Ezekiel claimed that he wasn't planning a comeback after sharing videos of him running the ropes and taking a bump in a ring.
