Former AEW star Miro has wrestled his first match since leaving Tony Khan's promotion.
The 39-year-old put the boots on for the first time in almost 14 months this past weekend, when he took on Alberto El Patron (FKA Alberto Del Rio) at Qatar Pro Wrestling's SuperSlam III event in Doha.
It is unknown what the result of Miro's match with the AAA Mega Champion was at this point in time. The show will be available to stream on Fite TV from March 1.
It was Miro's first taste of in-ring action since defeating Andrade at AEW Worlds End in December 2023.
The Redeemer was released by AEW earlier this month. He was reportedly upset after a storyline with then-wife CJ Perry (FKA Lana) didn't pan out as expected, with the two being under the impression that they would be a big act within the company.
It was said that Perry's release in July 2024 made things worse between Miro and AEW and he made it known he wanted out.
The man formerly known as Rusev could end up heading back to WWE, as his name has been mentioned in creative meetings.
