Fan Ejected From AEW Dynamite Taping After Harassing Skye Blue

A ‘fan’ was ejected from the recent AEW Dynamite tapings after harassing Skye Blue

A ‘fan’ was ejected from the AEW Dynamite tapings from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on May 8 after harassing Skye Blue.

The incident occurred during the Ring of Honor TV taping portion of the show, with a fan at ringside verbally abusing Skye Blue during her bout with Rachael Ellering. A report from PWInsider alleges the fan was making ‘sexually-charged’ comments towards Blue, with the comments continuing as Skye and Ellering battled on the floor near to where the fan - who was accompanied by a young child - was sitting.

As the comments continued, Blue is said to have told the fan to "not be such a pervert, a**hole" and then to "f*** off", as referee Aubrey Edwards communicated with AEW security to intervene. The fan was ejected shortly after being talked to by security. AEW policy, which is played prior to all events, requests that fans do not partake in discriminatory or harassing behaviour towards performers or other fans.

Rachael Ellering later commented on the incident, posting the following on X/Twitter:

“The speed in which @RefAubrey and I got out of the ring last night post match to get this creep kicked out was remarkable. Olympic medalist speeds. I’ve NEVER in my career heard such vulgar things being said to talent during a match. Sexual harassment is not heckling.”

Ellering also posted“I do want to say this: Thank you very much to the rowdy, respectful fans that come out to enjoy the show and support. We really appreciate you! This guy wasn’t a fan. He was a pervert who should be banned from shows for life.”

Aubrey Edwards also commented on the situation:

“If you yell disgusting, vile, hateful things at my coworkers, I will make sure your ass gets kicked out. There is no place for that in wrestling. Heckling is fine, but when you’ve made the performers (me included) feel uncomfortable in their place of work, you’ve gone too far.”

AEW officials were said to have praised both Skye Blue and Rachael Ellering for keeping their bout going despite the obvious distractions.
