Fandango Says WWE Locker Room Got 'Weird' When He Started Gaining Momentum

Things got a little weird in the WWE locker room for Fandango

Former WWE star Fandango believes the locker room got 'weird' towards him when he started to gain momentum on the main roster.

Speaking with the K100 podcast, the one-time NXT Tag Team Champion said:

"Everybody's your friend when you're doing dark matches. That's what I realised, you know what I'm saying? Because he's loveable, he's a nice guy and then you really figure out who your real friends are when you start to get a little momentum, you know what I'm saying? And it gets really tight, it gets real, real tight. But when the boys start b*tching, then I know who the b*tches are, I knew who's insecure. So I already know that I got them thinking so, my whole thing is you think The Rock was in catering gossiping about The Godwinns or f***ing Headbangers? Nothing against those guys but…and you gotta put your energy in the right places and at the time, yeah, things did get a little bit weird in the locker room (in WWE)," said Fandango.

Fandango marked his in-ring WWE debut with a victory over Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 29. He was released from the company on June 25, 2021, ending his fifteen-year association with the company. The 39-year-old currently wrestles for IMPACT as Dirty Dango.
