Fears Over Lack Of AEW: Fight Forever Updates

Fears have emerged over the future of AEW: Fight Forever

One month on from the video game's release and fears have already emerged about AEW: Fight Forever's long-term future.

There have been no major updates for AEW's first-ever console video game as of yet and the player count for Fight Forever appears to be dwindling on PC, with Steamcharts noting that AEW: Fight Forever's peak over the past week was only 150 players. This has prompted concern on the Fight Forever subreddit, particularly as the upcoming Stadium Stampede battle royale mode will require 30 players.

There has also been little news about AEW: Fight Forever's DLC packs. The Bunny and Keith Lee through the Limitless Bunny pack, and HOOK and Danhausen with the HOOKHausen pack are set to be added to the game at some point in the future. Release dates for the DLC were listed on the Nintendo store but THQ Nordic has since stated those dates were just placeholders.

THQ Nordic has addressed the lack of updates to AEW: Fight Forever, tweeting: "We know that everyone is eagerly waiting for more updates on #AEWFightForever. Please be aware that any information not shared by @THQNordic or @AEWGames is not official and might not be correct. Make sure to follow us for more updates, news, and announcements!"
