Finn Balor believes former WWE Superstars can benefit from their releases.

WWE has made major cuts to their talent roster in 2021 alone and big names like Braun Strowman, Bray Wyatt and Aleister Black have departed the company in recent months.

Balor believes the released Superstars can benefit from the situation, though, as them being let go means they can reinvent themselves outside of WWE.

"Obviously, you never want to see these things happen but this business is very controlled. A lot of my friends were on those lists. Some of them are seeing it as an opportunity," Balor told Independent. "It can be difficult to get minutes on NXT, it's only a two-hour show. A lot of these people, it's going to be for their benefit, to help them grow outside WWE."

"There are some incredible chances on the independents. You never want to see these types of things happen, I hate reading those lists, but you have to look at the positives of these situations, these people have been offered an opportunity to start again. You can start fresh with a new character, without anyone hands-on or manipulating your ideas. So you've got to accept the situation, move forward, embrace it, grow and create," he continued.

Some released Superstars have already begun working on new gimmicks, and the likes of Wesley Blake, Ruby Soho, Tucker and Malakai Black have all redefined themselves.
