Finn Balor Reacts To United States Title Loss

Finn Balor's feud with Theory continued on Monday's episode of Raw and The Prince defended the United States Championship for the first time.

Unfortunately for Balor, he missed his Coup de Grace attempt down the stretch and Theory capitalised with an ATL for the victory, ending Finn's US Title reign after 49 days. 

Finn has since commented on his title loss on Twitter, posting a photo of Theory with the belt with the caption: "Falling down is how we grow. Staying down is how we die. STAND UP."

Balor captured the US Title for the first time back in February, defeating Damian Priest for the gold. It initially appeared they would face off at WrestleMania 38 but Balor was involved in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the go-home edition of SmackDown instead. 

The United States Title was just the latest championship Balor has won in WWE and The Prince is a former NXT, Intercontinental and Universal Champion.

If Balor will have a rematch with Theory for the US Title remains to be seen.
