After the success of the Casino Gauntlet match at All In Wembley in August, All Elite Wrestling have announced that the first-ever Tag Team Casino Gauntlet Match will take place on the September 11 edition of AEW Dynamite, with the winners set to face AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks at Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 25.

The announcement was made by AEW President Tony Khan on X/Twitter, although he did not reveal how many teams would compete in the match in Lexington, Kentucky, nor did he name any of the confirmed participants.

Fan speculation online has seen many hope that this match could feature the AEW re-debut of the Motor City Machine Guns, with previous Casino Gauntlets known for featuring surprises and debuts - such as Ricochet and Nigel McGuinness inside Wembley Stadium.

The AEW tag team division is in a lull period, with many seeing the once thriving division as being in dire need of a refresh, with new teams, feuds, and a new direction suggested as being potential fixes for its current dip.

What the people seemingly really want, though, is a triumphant night for The Outrunners, with the young tanned vascular cult favourites riding a crest of a wave of popularity within the organisation after picking up their very first win and selling an impressive amount of merchandise too.
