With ROH returning to PPV with Final Battle in Dec 2020 and the 19th Anniversary Show in March 2021, plans are in motion for ROH’s next PPV show - Best In The World 2021.

Slated for July 11 in Maryland, the first bout for the show has already been announced, with former two-time ROH World Champion Jay Lethal taking on Brody King in singles action.

The two have been at odds since The 19th Anniversary Show, when after ROH World Champion RUSH successfully defended against Lethal, King arrived with his new faction VLNCE UNLTD to beat down both men, and their respective factions La Faccion Ingobernable and The Foundation.

On ROH Wrestling TV on May 29, VLNCE UNLTD and The Faction clashed in eight-man tag action, with King getting the pinfall win over Lethal, and their PPV bout confirmed shortly after.

This will be the first singles meeting between the two men, and with Best In The World set to be the first ROH show with fans in attendance since February 2020, it’s certainly shaping up to be a raucous affair.
